  4. AGSample is an example of how an application can integrate Apple Guide. It includes a guide file, AGSampleGuide, which describes and demonstrates Apple Guide integration. Also included is sample C and Guide Script for the following:

  6.      -- Context Check
  7.      -- AppleScript Coach
  8.      -- Opening a guide file to its default state
  9.      -- Opening a guide file with search
  10.      -- Use of AGFile library

  12. --- Installation

  14. Copy the AGSample folder to your hard disk.
  15. The AGSample application and the AGSampleGuide should be in the same folder.

  17. --- Operation

  19. Startup the AGSample.68K or AGSample.PPC application.
  20. Click the "Open guide" button.

  22. --- Using the sample

  24. The guide, AGSampleGuide, contains integration demonstrations and information.
  25. Co-locate the guide with the AGSample application for demonstrations.
  26. Co-locate the guide with your development environment (MPW Shell, CodeWarrior IDE, or Symantec Project Manager) to assist you in using the sample code.
